Refurbished Playground Officially Opened in Rectory Farm

On September 1st,  in celebration of the newly refurbished Play area, Rectory Farm Residents Association held a family fun. The Mayor Of Northampton, Cllr Tony Ansell,  cut the ribbon and officially re-opened the park.

Northampton Borough Council have added new equipment and volunteers from the community and the National Citizenship Scheme painted the existing equipment and fencing.

The Family Fun Day was a great success with various stalls, family activities and even a dog completion!

Cllr James Hill said- “I am delighted that our refurbished play area was officially opened by the Mayor of Northampton. The park was in really need of refurbishment and luckily Northampton Borough Council were able to install new equipment. We also had volunteers from the community who helped paint existing equipment and its now all looking fantastic. Huge thanks to everyone in the project and fun day.”
